I met Cindy and Michael a little over a month ago at Sharena & Scott's wedding and was thrilled when they contacted me about shooting their wedding. We had the most beautiful San Francisco afternoon to shoot their engagement portraits and they showed me parts of the city I've never even seen. Cindy & Michael, congratulations on your engagement - I can't wait for your day to get here!

Married | Jillian & Joshua
I've been looking forward to Josh & Jillian's wedding for what seems like forever. They were one of my first couples to book for this year and once I met them in April I knew we were going to have a great time together. It's been fun to watch their facebook posts to each other throughout the year - messages about how in love they were with each other seemed to pop up daily. And Saturday did not disappoint. We had beautiful weather in Kansas City, which was totally unexpected, and almost unlimited time for pictures around the city. The real jackpot was Union Station (above) - who knew we could get that huge space all to ourselves?!?
Jillian & Josh, I absolutely loved being a part of your day. Hope you're having a wonderful honeymoon and I can't wait to share the rest of your pictures with you!! Congratulations!!
Love this little mother-daughter moment minutes before she walks down the aisle.
I love that Josh and Jillian opted for a bus to carry their wedding party around the city!!!
This crew was never serious for long - here are the guys strutting their stuff...
And then the girls needed a turn...
Note to KC photographers: sign in at Nelson Atkins before taking an entire wedding party there! (Or just be real sweet to the patrol guy)
Union Station in downtown Kansas City is absolutely stunning.
Jillian is a dancer so she and her team put together a modern dance to Ben Folds' "The Luckiest" as a surprise for Josh. Midway through the dance, Jillian got up to join them. I may have cried through the whole thing. And maybe again the next day watching it on YouTube.

Married | Emma & Nick
Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting up with my friend Katy to shoot a wedding in Lodi, CA. I shot my very first wedding with Katy Regnier so it was great to get to second shoot for her again after having a little practice! This wedding was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony and reception were at Oak Farm Vineyards which provided amazing scenery and a wonderfully relaxed day. Emma and Nick were so sweet and it was a blast to get to capture moments from their big day. Here are a few favorites!
Nick sent Emma a sweet note and a gifts before the ceremony started :)
Beautiful details!
Making time to step outside your reception at sunset is a fantastic choice. Love this light...
And then you can get back to your party!
