I've been looking forward to Josh & Jillian's wedding for what seems like forever. They were one of my first couples to book for this year and once I met them in April I knew we were going to have a great time together. It's been fun to watch their facebook posts to each other throughout the year - messages about how in love they were with each other seemed to pop up daily. And Saturday did not disappoint. We had beautiful weather in Kansas City, which was totally unexpected, and almost unlimited time for pictures around the city. The real jackpot was Union Station (above) - who knew we could get that huge space all to ourselves?!?
Jillian & Josh, I absolutely loved being a part of your day. Hope you're having a wonderful honeymoon and I can't wait to share the rest of your pictures with you!! Congratulations!!
Love this little mother-daughter moment minutes before she walks down the aisle.
I love that Josh and Jillian opted for a bus to carry their wedding party around the city!!!
This crew was never serious for long - here are the guys strutting their stuff...
And then the girls needed a turn...
Note to KC photographers: sign in at Nelson Atkins before taking an entire wedding party there! (Or just be real sweet to the patrol guy)
Union Station in downtown Kansas City is absolutely stunning.
Jillian is a dancer so she and her team put together a modern dance to Ben Folds' "The Luckiest" as a surprise for Josh. Midway through the dance, Jillian got up to join them. I may have cried through the whole thing. And maybe again the next day watching it on YouTube.
These are gorgeous!! You are amazing Erika :-)
