{Newborn}: Adalynn

So I thought I could wait to see my sweet new baby niece until my next trip home when she would be one month old. But then my mom had to send a picture, and I just couldn't wait any longer. I took the next flight I could to get back to Missouri and see this addition to our family. I'm so glad I did - being around for Addie's first week of life was amazing. Here are some shots I took while I was home. It was always a struggle to actually put her down and take a picture of her but I got a few :) Welcome to the world, sweet Adalynn.

This girl has one sweet mamma.

4 generations!

Let's be clear, this one still steals the show.

Cutest family ever:

{Married}: Rebecca & Erick

Last weekend I had the honor of traveling down to San Diego to shoot Rebecca & Erick's wedding. I shot their rehearsal dinner Saturday night and went to bed excited for what the next day would bring and it did not disappoint! Rebecca's dad and brother built a bridge across the pool where the ceremony took place, Erick and Rebecca were completely in love and totally enjoyed their day, and their friends and family welcomed Jake and I with open arms. Thank you, Rebecca & Erick, for inviting us to be a part of your day!

This is the incredible bridge that was built the morning of the wedding!

Thanks to the Pearl Hotel for providing a super cool, unique location for the ceremony and reception!!

{Engaged}: Catherine & Marc

Catherine & Marc chose a beautiful evening to roam around shooting engagement photos. Jake came with me to shoot and we had fun laughing with these two and getting to know them and their story better. Catherine and Marc, your big day is almost here!! Can't wait to share it with you!

{Engaged}: Kylie & Tyler

These two are adorable. Normally there is some coaching that goes into helping a couple focus on each other during the photo shoot and not just looking at the camera but Kylie and Tyler are so in love I almost felt like I was bothering them to ask them to look at the camera! We had such a fun time roaming around Rancho Cordova - made all the more fun by the fact that it was Kylie's birthday. Happy Birthday Kylie, I can't wait for October to get here!!
