Since we live so far from home our friends' families have taken us in and treated us as one of their own. We spent last Christmas with Keli's family and met her brother and his darling wife. When I heard they were pregnant I was so excited since it was sort of like getting another nephew for myself. We were texted updates throughout Thanksgiving day when Nelly went into labor and I got to go meet the little guy just 9 days later. Here are some of the first photos of James Charles, the sweetest little thing on earth. Congratulations, Michael & Nelly!!
That's right, she gave birth less than two weeks before this photo. If she weren't the sweetest person ever, I think I might hate her ;) Nelly - you are such a wonderful mom and freaking beautiful. (Oh, and let's not forget that the woman is wearing stilletos. Incredible.)
Gotta capture real life.
So, Michael & Nelly are really good at making beautiful children. More evidence below with their oldest, Sarah, who is 3 years old and absolutely hilarious. How many 3 year old girls do you know that know what a quarterback and wide receiver do?
Again, have to capture real life moments when they happen! It was a cute picture before the pee began but then it became my favorite picture :)
LOVE these photos! Thank you SO much Erika! These are so very special to my entire family! XOXO
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Those are such great photos Erika! They really capture James and Sarah. We are so thankful for taking these photos. They will live with our family forever.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What precious memories....time waits for no one...James Charles has already gained a pound...so thankful you captured him so early on!
ReplyDeleteThis post almost made me think that babies are just sweet and cuddly and sleepy, but then I saw that they pee and cry, too! I love that you keep it real!
ReplyDeleteYou are simply amazing! And is there something wrong with me for instantly wanting to have another one? Michael and Nelly-- Congrats! He's perfect!
ReplyDeleteSimply put, I love baby Charlie :)
