Jenn and I lived in the same town until we were 22 years old and didn't even know each other's name. Not until we graduated from the same college and worked a summer job together did we realize what we had been missing out on. Jenn is super cool, and I was bummed that I was moving to California only a few weeks after we met and became instant friends.
We kept in touch and she came out to visit for a trip to Napa, dinner at the sushi boats, and catching up. Then on a trip back to Missouri four years ago we met over delicious sushi again, but this time Jenn had big news. She had met a boy and she really liked him. Really, really liked him. I couldn't be happier for my friend. When she emailed me to ask if I would shoot her wedding a few months ago I was thrilled. Jenn and Tim had a perfect two day affair and I loved being a part of it. This morning they flew to Japan to start their life together since Tim is a marine based in Okinawa. Tim, thank you for making my friend so happy. It's your turn to take her out to sushi now ;)
I loved that Jenn & Tim got ready together for their wedding day. It was sweet watching him zip up her dress and her straightening his uniform. Isn't she radiant?
They had a small, intimate ceremony at the courthouse with just their parents as witnesses. Then the crew came out to celebrate that night.
Post-ceremony Jenn & Tim took a short walk to themselves to revel in the fact that they were married!
Since the reception wasn't until the next day we had tons of time for photos of these two!!
After the ceremony and their photo shoot we had an afternoon break before their gathering with friends that night. I convinced them to let me pick them up 30 minutes early and snap a few extra shots around town since we never had a chance to do engagement photos.
such a sweet couple! great job! :o)
