Mike sent Katie a text a few weeks ago - "Katie, we need to get a new wedding photographer".
Katie called Mike back to figure out what the heck was going on and he let her in on the bad news.
"Our wedding photographer is a Cardinals fan."
Luckily Katie isn't a huge Cubs fan and decided I could stay. I'm so glad she did. While it may have been a little painful to photograph not only a Cubs fan, but a Cubs fan in Cubs attire, I pulled through and had a great time. Really Katie & Mike couldn't have been any more wonderful to photograph. We met up at The Page to grab a quick drink and chat about their October wedding plans and then we were off to snap some photos around the city. We had a beautiful day, despite the wind, (I think SF may deserve the "windy city" name more than Chicago) and we made some really fun images of these two in their city. Can't wait until October, Katie & Mike!
Katie & Mike met as next door neighbors so of course we had to go back to their old stomping grounds!
