{Anniversary}: Monica & Matthew
Last weekend I spent some time shooting Matt & Monica for their 10 year anniversary. Your wedding day shouldn't be the only day you have someone take good pictures of you! We had a great time wandering around Davis together finding cool spots to shoot. Congratulations Matt & Monica - 10 years is quite an accomplishment!!

{Married}: Nazli & Umer
It's usually pretty hard to eat well - if at all - when you are shooting a wedding. There is too much going on and it often gets overlooked. But when every member of the wedding party and the family of the bride and groom continually make sure you are eating and are constantly full, life is good. This weekend I second shot for Scott Fischbein and we were extremely well taken care of as we shot Nazli & Umer's wedding. Friday afternoon they had the marriage ceremony, Friday night was the first party which was full of dance performances by friends and family, eating and tradition and Saturday night was another exquisite gathering with twice as many people, twice as much food and probably twice as many pictures. We had a wonderful time getting to know Nazli and Umer and their families. Here are some of my favorites from their events.
Nazli shortly before the Nikkah next to her mother.
Nazli & Umer were greeted by so many close friends and family at the Mendhi.
The dancing was incredible!!!
There were so many adorable kids at this wedding. I might have as many pictures of the kids as I do of Nazli & Umer!
Aren't they beautiful?!
Day 2:
The guests may well have taken more pictures than we did. At any given moment I bet that at least 10 cameras were snapping a picture.
Adorable kids figuring out just how the projector worked.

Day 2:
We had some extra time before the party started with Nazli so we found a cool park by her house to shoot some bridal portraits.
